Atchison Globe Feb. 25, 1944 Death Ends Long Life of Mary Weber Death at 3:40 am ended the long and useful life of Mary A. Weber, widow of the late Peter Weber, pioneer farmer of the St. Patrick's neighborhood, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Asa Gingrich at Falls City, Nebraska. Since the death of Mr. Weber, May 21, 1938, Mrs. Weber has lived with two of her daughters, Mrs. John Wagner, east of Potter and Mrs. Gingrich at Falls City. Funeral services will be held at St. Patricks Monday morning at 10 o'clock and burial will be in St. Patrick's cemetery. Six of her grandsons will be pallbearers. She was born August 9, 1860 in Salt Creek Valley, Leavenworth County, Kansas. Mrs. Weber grew to young womanhood in the St. Patrick's community. Her marriage to Peter Weber took place there on Sept. 20, 1880 and they lived their entire married life in the St. Pat's community. Mr. and Mrs. Weber were the parents of five children, four of whom survive; Mrs. Wagner near Potter, Jake Weber, Route 1, Mrs. Gingrich, Falls City and Mrs. Gus Boehme, Rulo, Nebraska. A daughter, Mrs. Theodore Vanderweide passed away Dec. 20, 1922. There are 28 living grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Two of the grandsons are in the army, Sgt. Carl N. Wagner and Pfc. Leonard Wagner. Also surviving are 3 brothers; Peter Weinmann, Olpe and John and Will Weinmann of Atchison, 2 sisters; Mrs. Kate Seeger, Falls City and Mrs. Anna Bein, Boulder, Colorado
